From construction to a living farm
The coop as a continuation of shared work
After the rabbit hutches, the next step in developing the centre’s small farm was the chicken coop. A fence, shelter from the weather, a place for the laying hens — participants built all of it with their own hands, turning an empty corner of the property into a working farm, step by step.

Today the coop is home to white laying hens who have already settled into their new place: walking around the enclosure, feeding, and — as today showed — starting to lay.
